I like that this is a natural process. I'm very interested to see how high it will go with no work, except that of the natural growth of the website and people choosing to link to it.

It just goes to show what a good community and link-able content can do. Good threads, socially active members and web-aware users will help this forum a fair bit

I thought links were being built, other than the few that the members have added to their websites?

Currently there is no link building, outreaching or any other link acquisition other than using this place as linkbait.

 

The real test comes at the top ten. These are well established, thriving forums that churn out regular links. One thing we need to look at is a way of attracting links; guest posts, interviews, links on websites, social media are all great but we need to get links in an almost automated way. Much like the ones Google harps on about. Link earning as opposed to link building.
